I have always loved camping; from being a young child two weeks in Wales camping was the highlight of my year! When I was young we couldn`t afford Caribbean holidays, jet setting to hot countries, my parents struggled bringing up five children and we had to do most things the cheap way, looking back I had nothing compared to what my children have now, and I always try to remind them of just how lucky they are. However, back in those days a family holiday was a time for our family to spend all day together, playing games and having fun, but in this day and age family holidays are completely different. Although once a year we take the children abroad we still go camping every summer, and we all look forward to it. We buy our camping equipment online for a good price and it lasts us for years. Now because the camping is a cheap holiday for us just to break up the year we have a budget, so we cook all of our own food, and we go to a very simple site.
